The month of April brought the end of our tennis and our cycling season with great area competitions! 11 tennis athletes showed their abilities in a skills tournament.  17 athletes competed in the cycling tournament in New Braunfels. 

The sport of Topgolf began.

16 of our Boerne Blaze coaching staff attended an all-day “retreat”, learning and discussing advanced coaching skills, looking at our past sports year and preparing for the new one!

We have a bit of a lull in active sports this month and next. But we will start our new sports year of 2024-2025 in early July! Stay tuned!!!

I also want to take this opportunity to give a huge shout-out to Cathy Smith and the First Baptist Church of Boerne. The 2nd annual Starlight Ball on April 19 was over the top! Watching so many of our athletes (and many others) walk down the red carpet in beautiful dresses or handsome coordinated outfits was so fulfilling! Our special folks all looked so very happy and proud and celebrated! What a wonderful night it was!!!
