February is always an exciting month with our BIG BASKETBALL GAME! It was super fun this year on Feb. 8 at Boerne High School gym. One addition to our usual unified game was the Boerne Blaze cheer team who performed several times throughout the night! A few of our athletes even did double-duty and played basketball AND cheered! After the Big Game was over, 2 other sports began! Tennis practices on Fridays and Sundays and has a LOT of student volunteers! Watching a practice looks a little chaotic, but everyone is moving and working on skills with a volunteer the entire hour! The area tournament in San Antonio is set for March 30.
Our cycling season started up Feb. 20. With 31 athletes signed up to ride, it is sometimes a challenge to keep things organized. But the weather has so far cooperated and the practices have been going great! The area tournament with be in combination with Austin and held in New Braunfels on April 6.
The Boerne community continues to bless and support our special population. Our athletes have several exciting events to look forward to in the next few months: 

Coffee with a Cop – March 2
Unified kickball game with Boerne Fire Dept vs Boerne Police Dept – April 13
Starlight Ball – April 19
