Jenny's Jots MARCH 2023 What a full and fun February!! We started with our BIG BASKETBALL GAME on Feb. 9 at Champion High School. After coming into the gym through a long tunnel of CHS athletes and students and being greeted by the Boerne Greyhound, our athletes were introduced to clapping and loud cheers! Everyone played with big smiles. Cheerleaders and dance teams performed. One of our parents of a new BBSO athlete came up to me and (paraphrased) “This is amazing! The pervious team our son was on was just about the game. This is so much more!” Our cycling season began the next week! We have submitted our entries for the area cycling meet in New Braunfels on March 18. Tennis started on Feb. 17 and we are now well into that sport as well. That competition is mid-April.
Then last Friday night, many of our athletes were among those attending The Starlight Ball! Oh, my, how beautiful and handsome they all looked. Hosted and held at Boerne First Baptist Church, the attendees were showered with love and celebration. There was a glamor room, shoe-shining, dinner, limo rides all to take them up to be individually introduced on the red carpet as they entered the room to the dance. And a special guest arrived—The Spurs Coyote!! Wow, what a night! And now…I am in Reno, Nevada at the National Unified Bowing Tournament with a 4-woman unified team. Athletes Kristal Leos and Carley Fisk and teamed up with partners Hayley Fisk and JP Posey (yes, most of you know her as “Coach”). For all of these events, check out the photo drop-down for a few pictures! Blessings to all, Jenny Jenny Cashion [email protected] 210-279-0663
