March has been busy with both tennis and cycling. The area tennis competition was this past Saturday (March 30). We took 11 athletes who competed in the skills division. Everyone did so well! It was fun and our team really showed what they learned this year. Tennis practices will continue for a few more weeks and then…party!!!

The area cycling tournament is coming up this next Saturday (April 6). It is a combined event with area 13 (Austin). We are taking 21 athletes to this event in New Braunfels. All cyclists have worked hard at practice twice a week since February. 

Topgolf is returning this month as well! Practices start April 24! 

Coming up this month are 2 fun community events: 
The unified kickball game between the Boerne Fire Dept and the Boerne Police Dept on April 13. We have 8-10 athletes to join each team for this fun time! There will be other games and activities from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. This is a community effort to increase awareness of our individuals with special needs in Boerne and the surrounding areas.

Then…the 2nd annual Starlight Ball is April 19 at First Baptist Church. Everyone who participated last year  has had this on their calendar since the last one. So fun and every person feels loved and celebrated!!!

A few other notes: 
Registration for local Vacation Bible School is opening (see community page).
There will be no sports banquet this spring. Instead, we will have a kick-off party in August at Enchanted Springs Ranch! More details to come.
