Why I Love Coaching Special Olympics: It was the spring of 1988 when my son, age 7, began participating in Special Olympics in the sport of Track and Field. He loved to run like Forrest Gump!  That day I began my volunteering with the Special Olympics and have continued volunteering for the past 35 years!
