ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
Sarah Sarah is a long-time Boerne Blaze athlete who participates in many of our offered sports. She is 29 years old and attends Helping Hands Dayhab a few days per week. The youngest of the family, Sarah has 2 older brothers: Dennis Ray and Sadie have 2 boys (Sarah is an aunt!!!!)- Dennis Ray 111 and Shepherd. Her other brother is Robert. Sarah lives with her mom, Cathy, and with Robert. And her other brother’s family live in Boerne, as well. Sarah participates in Boerne Blaze sports of bowling, swimming, basketball, cycling, and triathlon (walking) but her favorite is definitely basketball – and the BIG GAME! |

From Jenny Cashion, Head of Delegation: When we moved to Boerne in 1998, Sarah and her family were some of the very first people we met. Throughout all of their school years in BISD, Adam (my son) and Sarah were best of friends, often acting like an old married couple! Sarah is a very special young lady. I treasure knowing and being involved in her life. She and her family mean so much to me. I am so happy she is an athlete with Boerne Blaze! |
She also loves to watch movies and help take care of her nephews. Sarah is very active in church activities with Side by Side (First Baptist), Jericho (St. Mark) and swimming and recreation therapy with her aqua and rec therapists.
Sarah is definitely the Princess of the family! She makes everyone laugh with her silly and fun personality. She is also very caring and loves helping other people. Her favorite thing is to celebrate birthdays…everyone’s birthday! ….not just her own (but especially her own-LOL!) She also loves spending time with all her friends and coaches at Boerne Blaze.
