ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
Macauley The October athlete spotlight is 32-year-old Macauley. She participates in Boerne Blaze cheer & dance and is starting with bowling this week! However, she lists her favorite sport as softball which we don’t presently offer. We just need a coach (hint-hint!) Macauley attends the Methodist Helping Hands Day-hab a few days per week. She enjoys snow tubing, dancing, going to movies, bowling and walking & hiking. |

Macauley loves to travel and RV! She goes on cruises, to beaches and to the snow! She was a varsity cheerleader in high school and also was in theater, including being in a production of Hairspray! But Macauley’s greatest joy right now is being an aunt to little Ellis!!

Macauley is the oldest of 7! She lives with her mom and dad. She has 3 sisters and 3 brothers, which includes a set of twins! No wonder she likes softball—they could have their own family team! Living on 5 acres, she also has lots of animals—4 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 chickens. 
From Jenny, Boerne Blaze Head of Delegation: Every time I see Macauley, she gives me the best hug! She is such a good friend to everyone. She always includes everyone and really enjoys activities she is doing. She also is a great part of our Jericho Ministry. She is a joy to have with Boerne Blaze and I am so happy she will be bowling with us this year…and maybe try other new sports in the future!! |
