The month of November ended with an “over-the-top” indoor triathlon competition at St. Mary’s University. Boerne Blaze took 16 individual athletes and 4 athletes on relay teams with unified partners. The event went smoothly from start to finish and was a blast to watch! Part of the reason it was so fun and exciting is that we had about 2 volunteers for every athlete! Most of the volunteers were from Texas State University. They were the best-cheering, encouraging, timing, and even running alongside the athletes! It was the perfect completion for our 2-month practice season.

​Bowling is finishing up with an area tournament on Dec. 7.  That season has flown by and also been very successful and fun. 

The National Charity League is hosting a Christmas gathering for our athletes (2nd year) and it is most appreciated! 

2024 has been an active, fun, and fulfilling year for the Boerne Blaze – and we look forward to the same for 2025. But, for now, we will rest and enjoy family and the Christmas season…until the New Year.
